Taking place in the Robertson Wine Valley, the Wacky Wine Weekend has firmly established itself as one of the Cape Winelands most popular wine festivals. 14 000 Visitors grazed our valley in 2007 and we are looking forward to 2008 when it's the wine festivals' 5th birthday.
From 6 - 8 June 2008 wineries from Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor and Robertson will once again pull out all the stops in bringing you the most fun, relaxed and unpretentious wine festival experience!
During the course of the weekend participating wineries and members will host extra activities that will include adventure, food, sports, kids activities, live music and outdoor outings. Join a tractor trip, lazily sit back for a boat cruise or try your hand at some quad biking. Enjoy some traditional "roosterkoek" , Tripe and "Waterblommetjie-bredie" - a family feast of Bon Fire Potjiekos or perhaps some finer cuisine such as sushi and fresh oysters. There are so many different options for you to enjoy - almost every taste and style is covered in one weekend.
Your passport (R40), a stylish tasting glass, must be purchased at your first port of call and serves as registration to the weekend wine festival.
